Randstad is seeking for an experienced Paralegal in the city of Westlake Village for a large insurance company handling claims litigation. This candidate will assist the attorneys in answering interrogatories and preparing motions, complaints, briefs and other legal documents and performs all types of legal support work assigned research as permitted by the rules of the State Bar.

Hours: 8am-5:00pm Monday thru Friday

  • Pay is between 26-27 per hour

  • 4 college degree or completion of accredited paralegal program or 1 year of law school.

Working hours: 8:00am-5:00pm

Skills:

The following requirements are as followed:

  • Assists attorneys in answering interrogatories, interviews clients and reduces answers to writing

  • Reviews work with attorneys and prepares answers in final form

  • Obtains, reviews and summarizes medical records at the direction of trial attorneys and reviewed by experts as necessary and arranges for medical examinations

  • Assist attorneys in preparing motions, and researches legal points in connection

  • Assist attorneys in interviewing witnesses preparatory to and during trials as necessary

  • Prepare documents and evidence for trial

  • Must have 2-5 years relevant paralegal experience

  • Subrogration experience a PLUS
